Biography
İGM International Founder & CEO
İhsan G. Muderrisoglu wrapping up an IBM 10-year career as the Government and Regulatory Affairs Executive for Türkiye and the Middle-East had been involved in regulatory support as well as governmental projects development, supporting high tech solutions such as AI, Blockchain, Health, Smart Cities and IOT 4.0 Industry Solutions.
In addition to this capacity, he facilitated technology diplomacy lobbying on behalf of IBM to the Turkish and Middle East Governments for regulatory support. In this capacity he had been essential in advocacy support for productive regulations and policies of the tech industry as well as compliance to regulations in the designated region coming from the U.S. and EU.
Previously Ihsan G. Muderrisoglu had rounded up a 15-year career at the U.S. Embassy to Türkiye, where he served as the Deputy Commercial Attaché at the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service (FCS), a division of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Within this capacity, he had been a key advisor to many U.S. companies entering or already operating in Türkiye, in the fields of business development, government relations, market strategy, regulations, advocacy and business intelligence. During his tenure at FCS, he covered the information technologies industry for 15 years in addition to aerospace, defense, safety security, finance and other industries.
Prior to his career at the U.S. Commercial service, he had worked at Sabanci Bank in London as an offshore banking specialist, Siemens Istanbul as an internal auditor and Siemens Ankara as a financial manager.
He received his primary education at Fairfax, Virginia, U.S.A. and later TED Ankara Koleji, Türkiye, continuing his studies at the Frankfurt International School in Germany, for his secondary education. He completed his studies with a double major of Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business and Marketing Management from the University of Evansville, Indiana, USA.
He has been awarded the U.S. Government’s Meritorious Honor Award and the U.S. Department of Commerce Silver Award in addition to 18 other trade and commerce related U.S. Government awards for his distinguished efforts.
After 25 years of international business experience, as of September 2024, Ihsan G. Muderrisoglu established İGM International Consultancy Ltd., located in Ankara, Türkiye and is currently the Founder & CEO of the company. He speaks Turkish, English and German fluently.
İGM International aims to be active in a variety of fields ranging from international business consultancy, cybersecurity, global investments, government relations and forming strategic partnerships with global and regional companies.
